This year has been another successful one for the association which now numbers over 100 members. Many changes occurred throughout the year.  We have moved our meetings from Stubbington to a lovely hall in Catisfield.  Our apiary in Titchfield is fully established now that Covid restrictions are no longer in place. The December AGM saw the three stalwart officers Zehra Demirel, Ray Creal and John Hoar stand down.  We still have a vacancy for the position of General Secretary to fill and hope to fill this in the near future.  Many new officers are in place and we have exciting ideas planned for 2023.

The good summer of 2022 seems to have produced plenty of honey and we look forward to another ‘bumper’ crop next year.  We are currently experiencing the first extended cold spell in our area for many years; so a Xmas present of fondant no doubt for our bees.
